Howard Quayle says it's a great honour to serve as Chief Minister on the Island's national day.
It's the second time the Middle MHK has taken part in the Tynwald Day ceremony since being elected as Chief Minister in 2016.
While the ceremony plays an important role in the Island's legislative process, Mr Quayle wrote on social media that it's also a time to celebrate the Island's culture, history and heritage.
Although the ceremony concluded at lunchtime, events will continue around Tynwald Hill until tonight, with local musicians, dancing craft workshops taking place throughout the afternoon and evening.
