MHK wants committee to investigate EU Bill

An MHK wants a Tynwald committee to look into the European Union Withdrawal Bill.

Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper has tabled a motion for this month's sitting calling for a five-member select committee to be appointment.

He wants to group to investigate the policy basis of the proposed legislation and report back to Tynwald by November 2018.

A public consultation on the Bill recently closed.
