The Isle of Man has submitted evidence to two UK parliamentary enquiries reaffirming its zero-tolerance stance on tax evasion and money laundering.
The Manx Government has updated the Treasury Sub-Committee inquiry on tax avoidance and evasion and the Treasury Select Committee inquiry on economic crime on the work tacking place on the Island to tackle tax evasion.
There has recently been an increased investment in the Island's financial intelligence and enforcement agencies, while the submission also draws attention to the publication of the Financial Crime Strategy.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle insists the Government is committed to defending and protecting the Island's status as a responsible member of the global community.
