Cycling event safety sign stolen

Police are appealing for information after a cycle event sign was stolen in the north of the Island.

The sign was taken from the junction of the Jurby Coast Road and the Bretney Road last Thursday.

Officers say the theft puts road users at risk as the sign is attached to a battery and flashes when a large group of cyclists is on the road to warn drivers in the area.

Anyone who can help police with their investigation is urged to contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234.
