A Manx church claims there is a campaign on the Isle of Man to prevent Christians from gathering and expressing their faith.
Living Hope issued a statement following the recent Four12 conference at the Villa Marina, which saw over 650 delegates in attendance.
The church says lies and abuse about the conference have been posted on social media, and has refuted claims that a speaker at the conference told cancer patients to stop taking medication.
Living Hope describes itself as deeply concerned by the untrue allegations posted on social media groups, calling such posts Christianophobic and possibly libelous.
The church believes there is a campaign to make the Island hostile for Christians, and is calling for Christians to be given equal access to public facilities, fair reporting and protection from discrimination.
