Government didn't fund TT video game

The Department for Enterprise insists it didn't provide funding to the developers of a TT video game.

TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge was released last year, and states that it received support from the Isle of Man Government.

However, a response to a Freedom of Information request confirmed this support didn't involve financial backing, but included the exclusive licence for the TT game and a percentage revenue share on game sales.

The Department also provided support promoting the game and worked with the company behind the game to secure image rights approvals for teams, riders and sponsors.
