The Legislative Council is due to consider a number of changes to the proposed Abortion Reform Bill today.
The council had been scheduled to enter the clauses stage of the last sitting, but delayed the next step after the legislation passed its second reading.
The changes put forward include a number of the bishop calling for the length of time a woman will be able to access abortion services to be cut.
Similar proposals were considered by the House of Keys earlier in the process, but failed to gain support.
