Lifeboat crews and a coastguard team were called out in Peel to help an injured teenager who'd fallen onto rocks.
The teen needed urgent medical attention after slipping seven metres and sustaining a serious leg injury at the Old Baths beach on Friday evening.
Members of Peel lifeboat crew provided immeidate first aid on the beach before the teenager was placed on a stretcher and transported in the lifeboat to Peel breakwater.
Once back on land, they were transferred to a waiting ambulance and taken to Noble's for further treatment.
Peel Coastguard described the incident as a reminder that a large group of teenagers, alcohol and cliffs isn't a sensible combination.
