Funding of drugs, waiting times and care of patients with allergies are all areas for concern in the Island's health service according to a report.
The final part of the West Midlands Quality Review Service's eight-part assessment of the Island's health services has been published.
The review included a number of areas of the health service including cardio, air ambulance, dietetic and pharmacy.
The report praised the range of equipment available in the cardiology areas, but was concerned drugs prescribed to patients in the UK aren't all routinely funded on the Island.
The assessors also found it unacceptable that inpatients with severe allergies are expected to bring their own food into hospital, while the waiting times for a number of services were also criticised.
The report did praise the air ambulance staff, describing their work as showing ingenuity and resourcefulness.
Now that the review is complete, Health Minister David Ashford intends to provide an update to Tynwald in the future, highlighting where changes are being made.
