Cost of SAVE programme query for Treasury Minister

An MHK wants to know how much the SAVE programme has cost the Government.

The Manx Government sought ideas for cost saving and increased efficiency from the public last year, receiving over 1300 suggestions.

Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse wants to know has much producing reports, officer time and other expenditure on the programme has cost the Government so far.

Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan will asked to provide the breakdown when the House of Keys sits on Tuesday.

Mr Cannan revealed earlier this week that a number of ideas have already been adopted by Government departments.
