The Isle of Man Post Office is looking for ways to make its letter and parcels division more sustainable and affordable.
The service is working on a strategy for the next five years following a 47% drop in the number of people sending letters over the last decade.
The Post Office says it wants to remain self-funding without relying on taxpayer subsidies, but its letters and parcels division currently takes funds from the board's commercial operations.
A consultation will be launched soon, giving the public and local businesses an opportunity to provide feedback on the future of the postal service.
