Police dealt with fewer crashes during TT fortnight

Police figures from TT fortnight show the number of collision during the two-week period was down this year.

Officers attended 76 crashes during TT this year compares to 82 in 2017.

However, the Isle of Man Constabulary revealed it dealt with more serious crashes that previously, while drink driving arrests saw a small increase from 12 to 13.

Crime throughout the fortnight was two from 121 offences to 85, with thefts cut in half.

There were also fewer incidents on licensed premises, with incidents of disorder falling from 90 to 53 while disorderly conduct dropped from 14 to two.
