Dan Kneen funeral takes place today

The funeral of Manx TT rider Dan Kneen takes place this afternoon.

The service takes place at Douglas Crematorium at 2.45pm.

Kneen's family have asked that his close friends and family are allowed to have the seats inside the church, but a PA will be set up outside so all can hear the service.

The dress code is casual, with those attending asked to wear team clothing or Dan Kneen T-shirts.

Kneen died during practice week after a crash at Churchtown in Ramsey.

The family have also asked for donations in lieu of flowers to be made to the Rob Vine Fund and Manx Hyperbaric Unit.
