Lezayre Road roadworks to begin this weekend

Sat, 09 Jun 2018

Roadworks due to last for six weeks will get underway in the north of the Island this weekend.

A section of Lezayre Road will close tomorrow to allow the Deprtment of Infrastructure to put diversion signs in place ahead of the road improvement scheme.

Motorists heading to Ramsey along the TT course will have to turn left at Sulby Bridge and follow a diversion route throughout the works.

Those leaving Ramsey will have to go via Jurby Road towards Sulby Bridge.

The Department of Infrastructure left the roadworks until after TT, and they're due to be finished by August 10th ahead of Manx Grand Prix.
