TT organisers provide injured rider updates

TT organisers have provided an update on the conditions of a number of competitors injured over the last two weeks.

Steve Mercer, who collided with a course car during practice week, remains stable in a Liverpool hospital.

Sidecar passenger Fiona Baker Holden has been transferred to a hospital in Liverpool and is expected to be discharged shortly, having sustained soft tissue injuries.

Her father and driver Tony Baker is expected to be transferred from a Liverpool hospital to a facility nearer his home shortly and has been described as comfortable after suffering a leg fracture.

Kamil Holan, who fractured his ankle during a Senior TT practice earlier this week, is likely to be transferred to a hospital in the Czech Republic shortly.
