Planning application submitted for MER shed works

The Department of Infrastructure is seeking planning permission for works on one of the Manx Electric Railway's tram sheds.

The DoI says the current east shed has deteriorated, and it wants to reclad the structure in brickwork for extra protection in severe exposure conditions.

The work would also include recladding to roof at the site on King Edward Road in Douglas.
