Inquest into Dan Kneen's death to open today

An inquest into the death of a Manx TT rider will open this morning.

Dan Kneen died following a crash at Churchtown on the Wednesday of practice week.

The 30-year-old, who was due to compete for Tyco BMW and Jackson Racing at TT this year, made his TT debut in 2009 and secured his only podium finish in 2017.

Coroner of Inquests John Needham will open the hearing at Douglas Courthouse this morning.
