A biker had to be airlifted to hospital after coming off his trials bike in Kirk Michael.
The coastguard were called to the scene shortly before 6pm yesterday.
The team had to descend down 200m to reach the injured rider with a basket stretcher.
The TT medical helicopter was able to land nearby while the coastguard and the biker's friends helped winch the stretcher up the steep hill.
Once at the top he was transferred to the helicopter and taken to Noble's Hospital for treatment.
The coastguard is urging off-road bikers to stay on the track and take note of all signs.
