Ellan Vannin is withdrawing from the Paddy Power CONIFA World Football Cup after the tournament's organisers failed to respond to the team's complaint about an opponent.
The Manx team lodged an official complaint after Barawa added a Libyan international who has played in the African Champions League to their squad after they'd already played their first match of the tournament.
The Island team had been due to play Tibet in a placement game today after failing to make it through to the quarter finals, but will no longer take part.
Ellan Vannin contacted CONIFA seeking further details about the Barawa squad, but the organising body hasn't replied to the email.
The Manx International Football Alliance had asked CONIFA to award the Isle of Man squad a 3-0 win, overturning the 2-0 defeat, but the appeal was unsuccessful.
