Ramsey RNLI crew rescues stricken vessel
Mon, 04 Jun 2018
Ramsey lifeboat crew was called out after a small day vessel ran out of fuel while returning to the town.
Two people were on board the 16-foot vessel from Peel to Ramsey when it ran out of fuel around half a mile from the Point of Ayre.
The vessel was towed to Ramsey Harbour before the RNLI's tractor took over due to the rapidly dropping tide.
The tractor pulled the vessel to the first set of steps, where the Coastguard provided further assistance.
