First races of TT2018 take place today

Racing is due to get underway at the Isle of Man TT today.

The Superbike race is scheduled to start at midday, before the first Sidecar race takes place at 3pm.

The Mountain Road is due to close from Barrule Park at 10.15, with the Bungalow to Creg-ny-Baa section shutting from 10.30am, before the rest of the course closes at 11am.

The schedule is subject to change depending on the weather conditions.
