Manx police are reminding motorists of the dangers of driving against the one-way system on the Mountain Road after a local man was arrested for breaching the system.
The 47-year-old is due in court today after driving from the Creg-ny-Baa to Brandywell yesterday lunchtime.
No entry signs, road closed signs and diversion signs, as well as a red traffic light are all in use at the Creg to show drivers and riders not to use the Mountain Road to travel from Douglas to Ramsey.
Officers say attempting to travel against the system is dangerous and irresponsible, and will likely lead to an arrest and court appearance.
