Manx racer Dan Kneen has died as a result of an incident in practice at the TT this evening.
ACU Events Limited confirmed the Onchan rider was involved in a collision at Churchtown on his first lap during tonight's Superbike practice session.
Kneen made his TT debut in 2009, and secured his first podium last year, claiming third in the Superstock race.
His TT debut came just a year after he first entered the Manx Grand Prix, having won three races in his first meeting on the Snaefell Mountain Course.
The 30-year-old had been one of the fastest riders in practice on the Superbike and Superstock earlier this week.
