Twenty-eight shooters took part in the second round of Ayre Clay Target Club’s Sportrap Summer League at Blue Point range on Sunday. Marty Kneen was the winner of the Chrystals Estate Agents’ sponsored event on 43/50. Kevin Oates was second on 42 with Stan Cross in third place on 40.

Results:

A Class: 1, Marty Kneen 43; 2, Kevin Oates 42; 3=, Alan Brew, Phil Butler and Alan Kinrade 39.

B Class: 1, Paul Mihailovits 38; 2, Dave Clague 37; 3, Martin Malone 35.

C Class: 1, Stan Cross 40; 2, Ted Davis 38; 3, Fred Waggett 34.

This weekend at Blue Point we have two 100 target Selection Shoots; one for Olympic Trap incorporating the Adam Slater Memorial Trophy and one for Olympic Skeet. Entries close at 10.15am.
