Merseyside Motorcyclist dies in TT Course Crash

A visiting motorcyclist from Merseyside has died following a crash on the (A18) TT Course just south of Creg ny Baa.

The crash happened at around 11.20am this morning (Sunday) and involved two other vehicles.

A Mercedes van driven by a man from Northern Ireland and Ford Kuga driven by a local man were damaged but the drivers were not injured.

The section of the course where the crash happened is in the two way section, however all the vehicles involved were travelling towards Douglas.

The road was closed for almost 3 hours while crash investigations took place. The Manx Police thanked members of the pubic who gave first aid at the scene but appealed for any further witnesses to come forward.
