Man appears in court after £100,000 worth of drugs seized

A Liverpool man pleaded guilty to drug trafficking offences after police seized £100,000 worth of cannabis and cocaine from his vehicle.

The 35-year-old male was arrested while disembarking a sailing on Thursday in Douglas.

Officers found drugs had been concealed in the vehicle with a value in excess of £100,000.

He appeared in court yesterday to plead guilty to a number of offences, and had been remanded in custody at the Isle of Man Prison.
