The Treasury has spent over £55,000 to place public notices in local newspapers since 2011.
2012 and 2013 were the most expensive years, with over £25,000 needed to publish such notices with Isle of Man Newspapers for those two years.
The Treasury says the costs were higher during those years due to voter notices and places of inspection notices.
Since 2013, the annual spend has been in excess of £5,000 just once, but almost £4,000 has been paid out so far in 2018.
The figures were revealed in response to a Freedom of Information request.
