Cheap charger warning from fire service

The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service is urging Manx residents to avoid cheap phone chargers.

Firefighters were called out in Ramsey after a charger caught fire while plugged in.

The fire service says buying the manufacturers or a recommended charger will reduce the chances of fire.

It's also recommended that chargers are checked periodically for wear and tear.
