LegCo to begin work on Abortion Reform Bill

The Legislative Council will begin its work on the Abortion Reform Bill today.

The proposed new laws will receive their first reading by the upper branch of Tynwald at today's sitting.

Bill Henderson, who is in charge of moving the bill in LegCo, initially delayed the first reading due to members not receiving an up to date copy of the draft Bill in time.

It's not expected the Bill will receive royal assent before October.
