Police appeal for information after car hits sheep

Police are appealing for information following a collision between a vehicle and a sheep near the Mountain Road.

The incident happened between 6am and 7am yesterday on the Beinney Phott Road near its junction with the Mountain Road.

Officers say the vehicle involved failed to stop at the scene, but believe it was a Ford Fiesta MK5 which will have sustained damage to the front grille.

Anyone who can help police identify the driver involved is urged to contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234.
