It will be over a year before the Department of Health and Social Care starts to make savings through the Mutually Agreed Resignation Scheme.
The DHSC offered staff the opportunity to quit their jobs for a one-off payment in a bid to reduce the Department's wage bill.
Speaking at this month's sitting of Tynwald, Health Minister David Ashford confirmed over £673,000 had been paid out in MARS settlements, while an annual salary saving of £607,000 has been made.
Mr Ashford insists the scheme is sustainable and the right way forward for his Department.
