Over £1m spent on Douglas Prom consultants

Over £1m has been spent on consultancy fees as part of the Douglas Promenade reconstruction scheme.

The costs so far include almost £350,000 on project management, £283,000 on rail design and £217,845 on cost consultants.

The total spend on consultants during the project is expected to be almost £2.3m.

Reconstruction of the prom is due to get underway later this year.
