Hutchinson joins Padgetts for TT Supersport races

16-time TT winner Ian Hutchinson will join Padgetts for the two Supersport races at this year's TT.

The 38-year-old, who will compete for Honda Racing in other classes, will ride Padgetts machinery for the first time since winning all five races during TT 2010.

Half of Hutchinson's TT wins have come in the 600cc class, including both Supersport races in 2015 and 2016.

Hutchinson was unsure until recently whether he would be ready to compete at TT, having suffered a broken leg during last year's Senior Race.

Padgetts' bikes had originally been due to be ridden by Bruce Anstey, but the New Zealander is unable to race this year due to illness, although the team confirmed he gave the go-ahead for Hutchinson to compete on his bikes.
