Douglas Lifeboat was called out to help search for a missing person.
The crew was paged yesterday evening to conduct a search from Douglas to Groudle and back again.
After reaching Derby Castle on their way back to Douglas, the team was asked to extend their search south along Marine Drive, but were advised the missing person had been found as they were passing the entrance to Douglas harbour.
The lifeboat was able to return to its berth shortly after 7pm.
The emergency services confirmed the person was found following a three-hour search, which also included the coastguard and civil defence.
