The new design for the Peel Harbour Road Bridge will be on display next week.
The £140,000 scheme to replace the current structure is due to get underway in September, taking 16 weeks to complete.
The public will be able to look at the plans at the Town Hall on Thursday next week, with Department of Infrastructure staff on hand between midday and 4pm to talk residents through what's being planned.
A temporary bridge will be in place while the new bridge is built, with a single lane carriageway with traffic lights will be used throughout the works.
The Department says it needs to replace the structure as it's been in place since 1938 and has deteriorated since a maintenance program was put in place in the 1990s.
