MHK seeks car park card payments update

Cashless payment facilities for Government-run car parks will be discussed in next week's sitting of the House of Keys.

Douglas East MHK Clare Bettison wants to know when a card payment facility or alternative cashless payment facilities will be made available.

Ticketless payment systems allowing a range of payment option are already used in Council-operated car parks in Douglas, but sites run by the Department of Infrastructure only accept cash.

Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer will respond in next week's sitting of the House of Keys.
