Charity wants surplus headquarters to be used as offices

The Children's Centre has submitted plans to change its headquarters into offices.

The Children's Centre is seeking planning permission to turn its headquarters into office space.

The charity's Woodbourne Road building is surplus to requirements after it reduced the range of its services.

The development covers number 90 - 96 Woodbourne Road, and the organisation hopes 90-94 can be used as general purpose offices and storage.

The property, which reopened in 2009 after a redevelopment and extension, has been vacated and listed for sale.

Number 96 is the subject of a separate planning application to turn the building back into a residential property.
