The Department of Health and Social Care has paid out over half a million pounds as part of a scheme to save staffing costs.
The DHSC launched the Mutually Agreed Resignation Scheme last year, looking for management grade workers to quit their jobs, receiving a month's salary for each year of completed service.
The Department revealed the scheme has so far cost £574,733.38.
The scheme was one of a number of cost saving ideas launched by the Department in a bid to become more financially sustainable.
