A coastguard team was called out in the west of the Island after a person got stuck on a sand cliff.
Peel Coastguard was asked to locate the person north of Kirk Michael shortly before 5pm yesterday.
After assessing the situation, the team decided the best way to rescue to person was to go up to the top of the cliff and escort the casualty down.
Once back down, advice about climbing sand cliffs was issued and the casualty was taken back to their waiting parents.
The Coastguard warns sand cliffs may look fun the climb but they can be dangerous and a landslide can happen at anytime.
