One of the Island's local authorities has ended its kerbside recycling scheme with immediate effect.
Port St Mary Commissioners announced that the service has stopped due to the rise in contractor's costs and a decrease in the value of recyclables.
However, the board says it's reviewing the village's three bring banks to see if those facilities can be improved.
Residents with recycling boxes can keep them or return them to the Town Hall or Commissioners Workshop if they're no longer needed.
