Bar, restaurant plans for former post office

Plans to turn a former post office into a bar and restaurant have been submitted.

Thompson Holdings is seeking planning permission for a development at the site of the former Regent Street Post Office in Douglas.

The firm purchased the building last month, and wants to convert the site into a multi-floor bar and restaurant.

The plans include an open-plan bar on the ground floor, a cocktail and music lounge plus a range of function rooms.
