Government assessing economic impact of road racing

An investigation into the TT's impact on the Island's economy is underway.

The Cabinet Office is conducting an economic impact assessment into the TT and Festival of Motorcycling.

The Government wants to hear from businesses, charities, self-employed people and other parties that have a positive or negative experience of the TT's economic impact.

It's hoped the assessment will help the Cabinet Office have a better understanding of the true costs and benefits of road racing.

Those wishing to respond to the consultation have until May 18th - full details of the assessment can be found on the Government's website.
