Fishermen fail to pay fines

The masters of two Scottish ships, prosecuted for fishing in Manx waters without a licence, have failed to pay their fines on time.

Court officials say Mark Frood of the 'George Lou N' and Craig Petre of the 'Philomena' were ordered to pay £15,000 and £12,000 respectively by March 27, but were unable to do so.

The men were also asked to pay compensation costs to the value of their illegal catch.
