Fire crews were called to tackle a garden rubbish fire that had spread to a nearby van.
A team of firefighters from Ramsey attended the scene at Lark Hill after the bonfire escalated.
Crews spent 40 minutes at the scene, using breathing apparatus as they extinguished the fire.
The fire service is urging anyone planning to burn garden rubbish to ensure the bonfire has at least six metres clearance from items like fences, hedges and oil tanks, ensure surrounding vegetation won't allow the bonfire to spread and have a hose on standby.
