Food wholesaler to close

Food wholesale company Jack Frost is to close despite securing funding for its future just two months ago.

The firm previously announced it would shut down in February, but a rescue deal allowed it to continue trading.

However, the company has now started to inform its customers that the business is to cease trading.

As well as its wholesale business, Jack Frost is also one of the Island's Meals on Wheels providers.
