Commissioners issue dog byelaw reminder following complaints

A local authority is reminding the public of dog byelaws following complaints about dog walking in a children's playground.

Braddan Parish Commissioners revealed its received a complaint about someone regularly walking their dog through Clybane Playground.

The Dog Control Byelaws for the area prohibit dogs from the playground at all times, regardless of whether or not they're on a lead.

Those who break the byelaws face a fixed penalty of £50 or a fine of up to £1,000 upon summary conviction.
