Digger damaged at plantation

Police are appealing for information after a digger being used for work at a plantation was damaged.

The excavator was left at Ballaugh Plantation when a stone was thrown through the cab window, smashing the glass.

The incident happened between Thursday last week and Tuesday this week.

The digger was being used to clear an area to restructure the forest and create new habitats for wildlife - the work has come to a halt as a result.

Anyone who can help police identify the person responsible is urged to contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234.
