Van driver didn't stop after hitting bus

Police are investigating after a van collided with a bus in Douglas.

The white van, similar in size to a Transit, hit the rear corner of a Mercedes single decker bus while it was stationary at a bus stop in Anagh Coar at around 10.30pm on Tuesday.

The van had chevron markings on the rear, while the driver made no attempt to stop.

Officers are currently working to get the CCTV footage from the bus to help identify the van, and are urging the driver to come forward.
