The number of visitors coming to the Island last year fell by almost 9% according to Government figures.
The Cabinet Office's Annual Passenger Survey found 266,850 visitors came to the Isle of Man in 2017, down by 8.7% compared to the previous year.
The amount of non-business visitors staying in paid accommodation also fell, but the average length of stay for visitors increased to 5.1 night.
Despite fewer visitors, the average spend per person increased by nearly a quarter to £448, accounting for a total of £112.6m spent by visitors in 2017.
The total number of passengers departing to Island increased, which the Government says is down to increased travel by Manx residents.
