Douglas Coastguards deployed oil pollution booms while the Fire Service dealt with the incident

Douglas Coastguard officers were called out during the fire on South Quay to prevent water contamination.

The team deployed oil pollution booms in the marina as fire crews tackled the flames yesterday afternoon.

Water from the incident was running off into the harbour as the emergency services spent several hours extinguishing the fire.
